Autogo, a UAE company owned by Kintsugi Holding, is starting RoboTaxi trials in Abu Dhabi. Autogo plans to fully launch the driverless taxi service by 2026.
This trial is part of a partnership with Apollo Go, Baidu’s self-driving unit. Baidu is a global leader in self-driving tech. The goal is to bring advanced transportation to Abu Dhabi.
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) is working with Autogo on the trials. This ensures the RoboTaxi service follows local rules and fits Abu Dhabi’s transportation plans. The project supports Abu Dhabi’s smart mobility efforts.
RoboTaxi vehicles offer a modern transportation option for city residents. The electric vehicles use AI for precise driving. They respond quickly to changing conditions.
