Delhi’s next Chief Minister is Rekha Gupta, while Parvesh Verma will serve as Deputy Chief Minister

Oath-Taking At the Ramlila Maidan, which has space for 30,000 people, the chief minister and the council of ministers will take the oath tomorrow.

Delhi Chief Minister: According to sources, Rekha Gupta will take over as Delhi’s next chief minister, with Parvesh Verma serving as her deputy. With a landslide victory in the February 5 Assembly elections in the nation’s capital, Gupta will succeed Atishi of the Aam Aadmi Party, bringing the BJP back to power in Delhi after almost 26 years.

 

A formal oath ceremony will take place at the Ramlila Maidan on Thursday at noon, following the finalisation of the CM’s name. Top BJP officials, including chief ministers from the states where the party is in power, as well as other celebrities are expected to attend the ceremony.

Social media posts featured images of the Ramlila Maidan being painted and its outside walls being cleaned up.
