Today, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is getting ready to launch the GSAT 7R (CMS-03) satellite for the Indian Navy. The 2013 launch of the GSAT-7 satellite will be replaced by the strategic communications satellite. On November 2, the LVM3 spacecraft, which was built mainly to support the Indian Navy, will launch the sixth operational satellite in the series.

“#AatmanirbharBharat takes another leap!” the Indian Navy wrote in a post on X. Today, the Indian Navy’s most sophisticated indigenously produced communication satellite, GSAT-7R, will be launched from Sriharikota by ISRO. a demonstration of our dedication to using state-of-the-art Indian technology to protect marine interests.

The Indian Navy claims that this launch is unique since it would send the country’s heaviest and most sophisticated communication satellite into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). “The satellite would strengthen Navy’s space-based communications and maritime domain awareness capabilities,” the Indian Navy said in a statement.

The massive satellite, which weighs close to 4,400 kg, is made up of numerous cutting-edge indigenous parts that were created especially to satisfy the operating needs of the Indian Navy. If this space mission is successful, CMS-03 will be the heaviest communications satellite that ISRO has ever launched.

Details of the LVM3 M5 launch

Launch pad: A multi-band communication satellite called CMS-03 is slated to launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Center’s (SDSC) Second Launch Pad in Sriharikota.

Time of launch: 5:26 p.m.

“CMS-03 is a multi-band communication satellite that will provide services over a wide oceanic region including the Indian landmass,” ISRO said in a statement about its impending spaceflight mission. The Chandrayaan-3 mission, which was launched by the preceding LVM3 mission, made India the first nation to successfully land close to the lunar south pole.

Where and when can I watch the LVM3 M5 launch live?

Following complete construction and integration with the spacecraft for pre-launch activities, ISRO declared on October 26 that the launch vehicle had been successfully transported to the launch pad. At 4:56 PM, real-time live coverage of the launch will be available on YouTube at “www.youtube.com/live/yAR9fV48Hjw.”

What happens following the launch of LVM3 M5?

Nearly a month after the LVM3 M5 flight, the sixth operational mission of the LVM3 launch vehicle, LVM3-M6, is scheduled for launch. The spacecraft LVM3-M6 with a CE20 cryogenic engine is expected to launch during the first week of December, according to ISRO.

The launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C62 is also planned for mid- to late-December of this year. This launch comes after PSLV-C61’s failure. According to the most recent update, it was originally scheduled for launch in September or October but has since been moved to December.

“ISRO is planning to launch the PSLV-C62 mission in mid/late December, which will be the return to flight for PSLV following a failure in its previous mission,” ISRO Spaceflight wrote in a post on Facebook.
