In Mihan, Nagpur, where DRAL has a production facility for creating several parts of the Falcon 2000 jet, the FAL for the Falcon 200 jets will be established.
French military aircraft and business jet manufacturer Dassault Aviation, in collaboration with the Reliance Aerostructure Ltd (RAL), led by Anil Ambani, will manufacture its best-selling business executive jet, the Falcon 2000, in Nagpur. This move could be viewed as a significant push for India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. The first Falcon 2000 aircraft built in India is expected to be available by 2028, according to the two firms’ announcement of a strategic alliance for this aim at the Paris Air Show on Wednesday.
“In its illustrious history, Dassault Aviation will produce Falcon 2000 aircraft outside of France for the first time. With this innovative project, India will become a key hub for the production of luxury business jets. The historic agreement opens the door for India to join the select group of nations that are producing next-generation business jets, which also includes the United States, France, Canada, and Brazil. The two partners stated in a joint statement that the made-in-India jets will meet the growing demand for business jets in both domestic and foreign markets.
