According to Misri, earlier this afternoon at 3:35 p.m., the DGMO of India received a call from the DGMO of Pakistan. “It was agreed between them that both sides would stop all firing and military action on land, and in the air and sea, with effect from 1700 hours IST Saturday,” he stated. Both parties have received instructions on how to put this understanding into practice. On May 12 at 1200 hours, the DGMOs will speak once more,” he continued.
